I think my married male coworker is hitting on me

I’m not entirely sure, but it certainly seems like it. He seeks me out to talk to me when I’m alone, and when no one else is around, he tells me I look good and compliments my clothes. This generally isn’t normal for straight guys.

I told my partner about it and asked him if he thinks this guy is hitting on me. And my partner said “of course he’s hitting on you.” Too bad the guy is married because he’s not bad looking.

What does marriage have to do with it? Maybe it's open, maybe he cheats.

Didn't we do this one years ago?

Unzip his pants. If he stops you, he might not be interested.

Reverse psychology, act disinterested but send mixed messages. Let him make the first move.

R4- That is the story of my life.

There was a really good looking cashier at Trader Joe’s years ago – one day he introduced himself and asked my name and where I lived. I was inadvertently friendly. One week later he came up to me and said hi James! As if I were his best friend I acted totally disinterested. After that, he backed off. I still think about him all these years later.

When I was in college, I used to go suck this straight guy off at the Sherwin Williams store by my house. He was the manager, and I'd walk there almost weekly around closing time and "shop" until the store closed. He'd bring me back behind the counter and I'd suck him off, then leave. I saw him out and about a few times in the city with his wife and kids. I miss that arrangement.

OP is very desperate for attention. I wish he'd fuck off back to Poland and bore them with his fiction.

OP - He's trying to get you fired by claiming sexual harassment the first move you make. Quit your job and move to another city.

OP - You should ask his wife.

If you really want to find out, you need to create the opportunity. When he compliments your clothes, say you were having trouble with the collar or something. Or spot something on his shirt. I d you get him to touch you or get near, you will know. This is all very stupid, but you will know.

by Anonymousreply 11August 6, 2025 11:21 AM

If you confront him on it, he will scream and cry and turn it all back upon you. Not worth it.
