Donald Trump calls Charlamagne tha god a "sleezebag"

Charlamagne tha god, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, is co-host of the popular radio show "The Breakfast Club," which draws more than 4 million weekly listeners.

"I think that traditional conservatives are going to take the Republican Party back," McKelvey said during an interview on "My View with Lara Trump." "I think this Epstein thing is going to be a way for traditional conservatives to take their party back, I really do."

"I think they know this is the issue that has gotten the base riled up," he said. "The MAGA base isn't letting this issue go, and for the first time, they know they can probably take the party back and not piss off the MAGA base."

The response from Trump came just days after McKelvey floated Jon Stewart as possible 2028 presidential candidate after former Vice President Kamala Harris said she won’t run for California governor, leaving the door open for a potential 2028 run.

After the interview, in a Truth Social post, Trump praised his daughter-in-law, called her "amazing and talented," and called the show "a big ratings success."

The president then called McKelvey a "sleezebag" and discounted his intellegence.

"He's a Low IQ individual, has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done," Trump wrote. "Just ending 5 Wars, including a 31 year bloodbath between Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, where Seven Million people have died, and there was no end in sight."

Trump went on to claim in the post that McKelvey did not know about a myriad of other topics, including India and Pakistan, Iran, the border or the economy.

Low IQ individual = negro

by Anonymousreply 2August 3, 2025 9:13 PM

R2, you caught that too, huh?

He's been using that term as a substitute for black people, for a very long time.

by Anonymousreply 3August 3, 2025 9:16 PM

[quote] Low IQ individual = negro

He so, so, SO badly wants to call people the N word.....hard r at the end.

by Anonymousreply 4August 3, 2025 9:33 PM

I know it will never happen, but I would love to see Trump find Rwanda on a map, and then explain the war that he "solved" and what it was all about and who was fighting and why and how it ended and who agreed to what, or really, just any goddamn thing that isn't on a giant cue card that Stephen Miller just held up right off camera.

by Anonymousreply 5August 3, 2025 9:44 PM

The funny thing R5, is that the lamestream media will never call him out on his lack of knowledge of world affairs.

He is a complete idiot, who gets a complete pass.

Yet any Democrat would have been raked over the coals for making the same type of inaccurate or misleading statements.

Why do we even have a media any more, when they don't do their job?

They're useless.

by Anonymousreply 6August 3, 2025 9:47 PM

There's a pattern.

Four of the nine people in George Conway’s Grok request are white, and one is Latino. Liz Cheney being as white as you can get.

by Anonymousreply 8August 3, 2025 11:25 PM

I thought it was funny how he trashed Trump to his daughter in law on her own show.

And she didn't seem nearly as angry as Don was about it. Maybe even she secretly thinks DJT is a twat.

by Anonymousreply 9August 3, 2025 11:26 PM

He goes after blacks and females with greater frequency.

by Anonymousreply 10August 3, 2025 11:34 PM

To know him is to hate him. I seriously doubt anybody in that family actually likes Trump. They're afraid of him, and they see him as a meal ticket, and they don't want to upset him because he's such a goddamn cunt all the fucking time, but I just don't believe anybody actually likes him.

by Anonymousreply 11August 4, 2025 12:25 AM

[quote] He goes after blacks and females with greater frequency.

Yup.

Black people are "Low IQ" and women are "Such a nasty woman."

[quote] I thought it was funny how he trashed Trump to his daughter in law on her own show.

[quote] And she didn't seem nearly as angry as Don was about it. Maybe even she secretly thinks DJT is a twat.

I had the exact same thought!!

Wouldn't it be delicious, if she was secretly undermining Trump, via Fox News?

R12 Indeed. I find it very hard to believe she had no idea what he was going to say and yet she invited him on to her show anyway.

One could argue that she did know and wanted to show him up on TV, but she seemed friendly with him and - while she did challenge him on certain points - she didn't go in hard nor did she seem annoyed. Trump's message on Truth Social is in sharp contrast to the way Lara was with him.

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd given her an earful behind in the scenes, so maybe she did enjoy undermining him. As R11 says, it's hard to believe his family like him, given they have to listen to him even more than the rest of us.

by Anonymousreply 13August 4, 2025 9:29 AM

Apologies, the first sentence in my last paragraph in R13 is badly written! It should say:

[quote]"I wouldn't be surprised if Trump gave Lara an earful after that show aired and it probably wasn't the first time, so maybe she did enjoy undermining him."

by Anonymousreply 14August 4, 2025 9:33 AM

[quote] I seriously doubt anybody in that family actually likes Trump.

I seriously doubt anybody anywhere actually likes Trump.

by Anonymousreply 15August 4, 2025 10:16 AM

R4 Dude, last week he said Kamala "doesn't speak well"

Whuh? We ALL saw that debate. He's so dismissive of EDUCATED Black folks. Really to everyone, but the microagression with the Blacks just rolls of his tounge.

by Anonymousreply 16August 4, 2025 10:34 AM

You just know that slow witted, budding psychopath was given an IQ test by his parents when he failed to learn how to read. I'm sure he got verbally abused by them about it and has never gotten over it.

by Anonymousreply 17August 4, 2025 10:35 AM

Remember when Joe Biden took the time out of the Presidential schedule to call a critic of his a "sleaze bag"?

I certainly don't.

by Anonymousreply 18August 4, 2025 1:32 PM

Trump: I just ended a black people war, and I'm not getting any love for it from a black guy, so that guy is stupid and sleazy.

by Anonymousreply 19August 4, 2025 1:35 PM

To those saying that he's secretly loathed by Lara (and probably the others), I agree. So does Michael Cohen. He warmed up to her when she began kissing his ass. Of course, she knew how the family feels about her. But she secured her perch.

[QUOTE]Former President Donald Trump didn't like his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, for "many years," according to his former personal attorney Michael Cohen.

[QUOTE]"In fact, first and foremost, Donald didn't even like her for many, many years," Cohen continued on the latest episode of Meiselas' Political Beatdown podcast. "He didn't want Eric to even marry her. He had found somebody else that was working at the Trump Organization that he wanted Eric to marry.

[QUOTE]"And of course, not only did Donald make fun of her looks, but so of course did [Donald Trump Jr.] and Ivanka [Trump], they all made fun of her looks. They just didn't like her at all," Cohen continued.

Does Cohen explain WHY they didn't like her, R20?

I find that aspect much more interesting.

by Anonymousreply 21August 4, 2025 9:22 PM

No, he didn't elaborate. They're superficial enough to dislike her on looks alone. Also, I suspect she comes from peasant/lower class stock.

[QUOTE]Little is known about her father, Robert, who is believed to be of Slovakian descent, or her mother, Linda. The only hardship Trump faced in early life, she once admitted, was not making her school’s junior varsity cheerleading team.

Her Wiki page indicates he's a "shipbuilder," but the reference links to an article about Laura Lopes, Queen Camilla's daughter. I kid you not. More likely he worked in a shipyard. She had been a Hooter's waitress to put herself through school and was doing similar work in NYC. I guess it's the special, deluded Trump brand of NOKD.

[quote] Also, I suspect she comes from peasant/lower class stock.

Umm, the Trumps are descendants of the brothel owner and Fred Trump, slumlord from Queens.

by Anonymousreply 23August 4, 2025 9:50 PM

That's why I said "special, deluded Trump brand of NOKD," r23.

by Anonymousreply 24August 4, 2025 9:53 PM

Takes one to know one.

by Anonymousreply 25August 4, 2025 10:08 PM

This Lara Trump story makes me very happy.

She could very well be the one to bring the entire Trump world crashing down.

Team her up with Kimberly Guilfoyle, and they could do some major damage.

[quote] She could very well be the one to bring the entire Trump world crashing down.

The walls are closing in.

by Anonymousreply 27August 5, 2025 12:15 AM

Ah, I thought said "low-IQ individual" to avoid saying retard. That was probably too charitable of me.

by Anonymousreply 28August 5, 2025 2:46 AM

You gotta wonder how often Fred Trump called him a retard...

by Anonymousreply 29August 5, 2025 2:47 AM

R8, there are far more white people in the US than those who identify as black. It's a factor of roughly four to one. Having four black or mixed people on the list is a huge red flag.

That Dump even has such a list is also an enormous red flag. It's absurd that any POTUS behaves so abysmally. He doesn't deserve defending on any level. He is shit.

One Latino on the list is one too many if they only make up 20% of the US population.

by Anonymousreply 30August 6, 2025 8:25 AM

Charlamagne is trash. Another "both sides are bad" trash bucket. Also, why is this person even given 5 seconds of attention for this political opinions?!

by Anonymousreply 31August 6, 2025 12:41 PM

R31 He’s correct though. Democrats are just the opposite side of the coin of Republicans. Just as nutty, especially now that they hate Jews.

by Anonymousreply 32August 6, 2025 12:54 PM

Sorry how do Democrats hate the jews?

by Anonymousreply 33August 6, 2025 1:02 PM

R33 They don’t, the right confuses Antisemitism with Zionism because they operate with black and white thinking.

by Anonymousreply 34August 6, 2025 1:27 PM

Did DJT misspell “sleazebag” or was that OP’s mistake?

by Anonymousreply 35August 6, 2025 1:57 PM

Couple Trump’s greater tendency to call blacks, women and Latinos low IQ, with saying "He's one of the good ones." about Byron Donalds and you know what he's all about.

I suspect his "issues" with migrants and Latinos began when Judge Curiel put the kibosh on Trump University. (despite being probably one on the larger employers of undocumented labor in NY and NJ.) This same judge had serious and credible death threats against him when he presided over a cartel case and had to live on a guarded Naval Base for the duration of a trial. The Trump administration just recently made a deal to allow over a dozen members of a narcotrafficking family into the U.S.

God how I hope history humiliates him, his grifting DEI offspring and every one in their cabal.

by Anonymousreply 36August 6, 2025 3:15 PM

JD Vance is getting ready to enact the 25th amendment and take over. He will be potus before the midterms. Mark my words.

by Anonymousreply 37August 6, 2025 3:44 PM

^ If you thought MAGA was upset during 1/6, what do you think they'll do if Miss Jaydine pulls the trigger on the 25th Amendment? Trump will not quietly go away.

But if the MAGA mob hangs Miss Jaydine, I can't say that would be a bad outcome.

by Anonymousreply 38August 6, 2025 4:49 PM

R38 He's having an emergency dinner tonight with other Repuke leaders about how to handle Epstein. Dump was on the White House roof yesterday ranting like a mental patient. Vance is going to get rid of him.
