The last movie in this franchise is about to come out, they didn't really buy it at a great moment. On the other hand, I wonder how much the asking price was when the Conjuring hysteria was at its highest, because that shit got pretty big years ago.

The movies are petering out because so many are now talking about their fraud instead. Without these movies, they'd still be considered niche but legendary names in paranormal circles. But people have looked closely at all the shit they did – or claimed to have done – and absolutely nothing stands up to scrutiny.

Visited the home back in 2022 while in town. Couldn't go inside or anything but the house was a real shitbox especially compared to the homes in that neighborhood/street.

Went to the cemetery too (Union) and saw their grave marker. It was decorated with tchotchkes and other assorted cheap shit.

Read their books 20 years earlier when I was in college and paperbacks were $6.00. They wrote about how evil and haunted Union cemetery was but it actually was a pleasant and beautifully maintained burial space.

Their plan is probably to exploit every inch of it for YouTube views and get their money back that way, hopefully make some profit in the process.

I imagine the viewers' interest would quickly fade if it really is such a shitbox. You can only show that doll collection so many times before people will get bored of it.

The Amityville Horror was the biggest crock of shit brought to us by the Lutz family…..no one I knew on LI ever beloved the story.

To us Long Islanders they were just a low life family who couldn’t pay the mortgage on their then $80,000 water front home so they came up with that stupid story then bailed on the house.

I avidly read The Amityville Horror when it came out. I also avidly read all the Warrens' books back in the 80's/90's. I can't believe I swallowed all that crap. But those were the days before so many ghost hunting shows where nothing ever happens LOL.

Does anyone know if Ryan Buell is currently with a man or a woman? It's a shame he didn't end up with Sergei (who is gay as a picnic basket) who eventually wound up having a lavender marriage due to familial pressure and being Russian.
