So this is the more explicit continuation of Trump's free-associating boasts at the Scotland press conference. The 'averaging one war ended per month' line actually got a mild laugh on that occasion, being so Trumpian and vainglorious. But he stopped short somehow of mentioning the Nobel.

However, the campaign now steps up. Trump thinks he should behave like an Oscar nominee. And yes, it's a shameless would-be Epstein 'distraction.' Strong-arming the Nobel committee is a novel approach. It's to be hoped the WSJ among others retain information to be released at the appropriate times.
