Maybe I got it for a little extra publicity.
Major medical societies (CDC, IDSA) do not recognize “chronic Lyme” as an ongoing bacterial infection.

His "Man of the Woods" era was the final nail in his career coffin, and possibly his actual coffin.

Idk maybe he has it but it seems like such a coincidence it coincides with his erratic behavior throughout this year.
Does Lyme disease cause dilated pupils?

A friend's son got it a few weeks ago, a colleague (who I totally hate) got it this week. Both were in visiting upstate NY. Totally treatable with doxcyciline, but people feel VERY sick. The NYTs had an article about Lyme Disease last week. Thw numbers are up. The problem is that it is often not diagnosed soon enough. There is ifyen just a profound general malaise and not feeling well.

He called Lens Dunham for advice and she said best to stick to Lyme disease. She knows and has all the more hot house bespoke chronic diseases but is a pro. Justina is an amateur.

Just a reminder that we had a vaccine for Lyme disease but it was discontinued in 2002 because anti-vaxxers claimed it caused arthritis and other maladies, and the manufacturer pulled it from the market as demand slowed.

I was diagnosed with Lymes last summer.
One day, I was at work and picked up a pencil to write something down and my hand just froze.
It was really scary, so I made an appointment with my doctor that day.
She suggested I be tested for Lymes right away. Found out the next day I had it.
Went on a two or three week cycle of doxycycline which gave me the worst diarrhea I have ever experienced ever.
After that, I was good to go. In fact, I forget I still technically have it until I read an article about it or something.

R32 Gotta love antivaxxers who think they know more than the doctors. Just like homeschool parents who think they know more than the teachers. Notice the pattern of how our culture distrusts experts and intelligence.

Murder, illicit sex, poison ivy/oak, mosquitoes, broken ankles, dangerous animals and now LYME DISEASE.
So many reasons not to go into the woods. Seriously.
Not that I believe he has it or anything.
But stay out of the woods and the oceans - it ain't our habitat. We don't belong there!

by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 1, 2025 11:06 PM |
"If you've been treated for Lyme disease with antibiotics and have prolonged symptoms, studies have shown that more antibiotics are unlikely to help." Chronic Lyme ≠ Chronic Infection (in most cases). It’s a post-infection syndrome, not a persisting bacterial presence. Testing confirms prior infection, but absence of active infection is assumed based on clinical evidence, even if testing can’t prove total sterility.
R41 have you been diagnosed with "chronic lyme" or not?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 1, 2025 11:15 PM |
I would be thrilled to see Timberlake in a cardigan with salt and pepper broccoli hair doing pharmaceutical commercials for Lyme disease.
Tender to the touch? Cloudy memory? Skin rashes? Can't hit notes like you used to? That was me - Justin Timberlake - but now I take Lyme-away.
With Lyme Away I'm back on my feet and singing again - pan to a small crowd of fat people at some Midwest county fair.
