Jerry O’Connell was so annoying on Kelly & Mark. Way too hyper and all over the place. I’m glad they only had him one for 1 day and they had the much more demure David Tyler Muir sub for Mark today. David was much better than buffoon O’Connell.

He seems like a nice person but, yes, very hyperactive. And that's how he always is. I'm actually kind of surprised he and Rebecca Romjin have lasted as long as they have.

When he got the gig on The Squawk, the story was that he was hoping that would turn into his own syndicated talk show with his wife as co-host. He's unwatchable.

He desperately wanted the co-hosting job with Kelly after Strahan left and they were auditioning various people. Jerry co-hosted a couple dozen times but they went with Seacrest. Ha ha Jerry. So then the Squawk hired him and ratings tumbled until they got cancelled. Anything he touches, he tanks.

R25 - I think it's more than that - he's desperate to get booked. Outside of hosting gigs, what exactly has he done?

I do agree that some of that can be the 'love me although I'm fat' personality that some people develop when they're young.

I feel like he sucks all the energy and attention out of every room he's in - even at home. I couldn't deal with that. He seems likable enough - but it's just an aggressive amount of energy and antics.

So thirsty, he drools.

He also does commercials for a slot machine app.
