"Untamed" on Netflix

Starring Eric Bana as a special agent solving a Yosemite murder. Did anybody else try watching this?

I wanted to like it but it was SO bad.

The mountain scenery was nice at least.

I was going to start a thread on this, but I generally don't get a lot of hits. We enjoyed the hell out of it. No, Bana isn't the best actor, but he's still hot. And Sam Neill still looks great. Terrific cinematography, the story was okay, the writing was pretty good compared to some other things we've watch lately (only one "it's not your fault!" that we counted).

R1, looking at Bana was one of the better parts of the series.

I watched the first two episodes and was bored and guessed what was going to happen so skipped to the end—and I was right.

Eric is still hot, though.

Sam was interviewed on radio this past Sunday in New Zealand. He didn't really say a lot as he doesn't blow his own trumpet. He enjoyed filming in Yosemite I gather. Gotta love Eric Bana my Aussie boyfriend (also lowkey).

I watched the whole thing. The shots were great, but that's about it. Everything else was just "meh."

R5, the storyline and writing felt like something I would've seen in the '90s on network TV. But my opinion may be influenced by having seen the much superior "Dept Q" right before it.

Salt and pepper looks good on Bana though.

I watched it. A great opening scene followed by a shitload of filler and dull subplots. There were several times where a character was in mortal danger and then randomly another character shows up to save them. I rolled my eyes every time.

I always get Bana mixed up with the Passion of the Christ actor Jim Caviezel. Not sure why. After recognizing my mistake I watched. It was decent.

I'll only Eric Bana again when he does gay porn.

Bad, bad writing. Lots of serious stares masquerading as acting. Too many kids.

R7, yeah, the opening scene was thrilling! But then it flatlined.

I want Eric to fuck me so hard I cry, so of course I watched...one episode. Couldn't take anymore.

One of the worst pilots I've seen a long time.

We watch the whole thing. We didn't think it was bad at all.
