I think I'm going to watch it because I just saw The Amateur and it was really good.

by Anonymousreply 1July 27, 2025 1:47 AM

Yes it is

Is there any gratuitous male nudity, R2?

by Anonymousreply 3July 27, 2025 2:09 AM

It's fantastic

by Anonymousreply 4July 27, 2025 2:10 AM

No, it's a basic cable show, r3. The first season is extremely entertaining and worth a watch.

by Anonymousreply 5July 27, 2025 2:31 AM

I agree 1 season then its forgettable. Move on.

by Anonymousreply 6July 27, 2025 2:40 AM

It’s only got one good season? Then how the hell is it considered a good show if three quarters of it is garbage?

by Anonymousreply 7July 27, 2025 2:56 AM

Domo irigato Mr. Roboto...

by Anonymousreply 8July 27, 2025 3:48 AM

S01 has a pretty good arc, r7. I think you could stop with that season and feel pretty satisfied. It's not a show where you HAVE to watch every season or you won't enjoy it.

I’m four episodes in and there’s been a good amount of male nudity, including a gay sex scene. R5 undersold it.

Like a lot of TV series, should have wrapped up in one season, in which case this one would have gone out of a very strong note.

by Anonymousreply 11July 27, 2025 12:24 PM

No network show that’s popular and gets critical acclaim will stop after one season.
