Brent Spiner was Brent Spiner. Really hilarious. He said he hadn't really wanted to do Mama's Family but he had just played the same character on Night Court and the actor they initially hired had backed out the night before taping so the casting director rang him and asked him to essentially do the same character. Then they brought him back for a second appearance a few months later. Said he loved Vicki and ran into her a few months ago at another con and she remembered him.

I asked Juliette Lewis if she was ever up for the same part as Parker Posey. She said no because Parker is a decade older.
