Immigration agents told a teenage US citizen: ‘You’ve got no rights.’ He secretly recorded his brutal arrest
n the morning of 2 May, teenager Kenny Laynez-Ambrosio was driving to his landscaping job in North Palm Beach with his mother and two male friends when they were pulled over by the Florida highway patrol.
In one swift moment, a traffic stop turned into a violent arrest.
A highway patrol officer asked everyone in the van to identify themselves, then called for backup. Officers with US border patrol arrived on the scene.
Video footage of the incident captured by Laynez-Ambrosio, an 18-year-old US citizen, appears to show a group of officers in tactical gear working together to violently detain the three men*, two of whom are undocumented. They appear to use a stun gun on one man, put another in a chokehold and can be heard telling Laynez-Ambrosio: “You’ve got no rights here. You’re a migo, brother.” Afterward, agents can be heard bragging and making light of the arrests, calling the stun gun use “funny” and quipping: “You can smell that … $30,000 bonus.”

Florida is a shit hole.
What we need is a general stroke or an "Immigrant Day Off" kind of strike and let the work they do go undone for a couple weeks now during peak farm season.
I won't even care if these ICE things start getting gunned down. I really won't.

Treating people like shit because they are illegal is a crime in itself. But the white officers laughing at scene made me think of other times " police officers" have probably laughed. The Irish cops who beat blacks in New York at the turn of the century. The way police attacked students who were protesting in the sixties. The way that male cops harassed gays in clubs. The way the police attacked, and hurt women marching for the vote. If that was your family member how would you feel. Trump has given every asshole the right to be an asshole- especially cops who sometimes are no smarter than the people they are arresting. We need to stop and think about what our police forces say about us as citizens. I don't like thinking that some piece of shit cop is able to hurt people for the thrill. And that is what that video is all about. They like arresting them for the thrill, and the ability to treat them like dogs because that is how these cops see them.
