Faye was criminally snubbed of an Emmy nomination for her work Though as some have said, she's seems to be playing Joan Crawford playing Evita Peron at times, especially in the later scenes.

I don’t know why Faye isn’t more open about the drug use. Sharon Stone talks about how Faye took her under her wing after Basic Instinct because when she became a star she couldn’t handle it and began shooting heroin with her rock star husband.
