She was obviously a lesbian who hated herself enough to enter into some sham marriage. Sad, but I’m sure she was miserable pretending to be straight. I’m not even sure why she tried - she had been out, lived in NYC and pinged from space.

I would assume by the concentrations of each of the substances in her system. If it's far and away beyond what would be "normal" concentrations would be, then they make the call that she meant to ingest that much to achieve a desired outcome.

If it's too close to call or just over the tipping point, it would most likely be deemed "accidental."

How very sad and tragic. If not for depression or other issues she could have had a nice long life. I was not familiar with her or the show, but the pain of suicide for the person themself and their loved ones, is devastating.

On the other hand, I see she grew up in upstate Cazenovia NY. Never having heard of it before I looked it up. What a beautiful little town! And affordable.
