High Quality Reading Glasses

Do you have any suggestions? I'm looking for something sturdy that doesn't look like I bought three pairs for $10.

I know, I know another dewy fresh, youthful thread.

Who exactly are you trying to impress by buying three pairs for $10, big spender?

Dollar store glasses for $1 each do the same thing as more expensive glasses. I stopped bothering with expensive ones after realizing that the convenience of leaving glasses sitting in the kitchen to read labels, at my desk, by my bedside, and in my car or wherever else I might randomly need to read something made up for the hassle of looking around the house to find them or carrying them around with me.

Yes, expensive ones can be better quality and, if you actually use them frequently, it makes sense to invest in a pair. But, if you're a casual user, it's not worth it.

3 for 12-15 from amazon. choose a brand that has most high reviews. you dont need more than that because until you pay the 50 bucks they are all the crap. do you want to pay 50? 100? why

Go get an eye exam and get a decent pair. My prescription reading glasses are amazing.

Either way, you'll look old

Just go to Target for the free eye exam and then order up a cheap pair from Zenni.

Foster Grants break easily. The wire/metal ones last longer.

Izipizi (France) are good quality, well designed and reasonably long-lasting.

Mine are in and out if my pockets all day, sometimes sat upon, and on and off my face countless times I'm a day. I buy a few at a time and would say they last about a year before I scratch the glass or snap an arm off.

Much more expensive glasses may have better hinges and overall construction, they may last somewhat longer on average, but they are still subject to the same wear and damage and will cost 350 or more compared to 35.

I'm not trying to impress anyone, I just wanted a high-quality pair of reading glasses with some heft.
