Venus Williams Engaged
Tennis legend Venus Williams just served up some major news — she's engaged to actor Andrea Preti.
The multi-Grand Slam champion confirmed her engagement after months of rumors during a post-match interview in July 2025. "My fiancé is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing," Williams, who was first linked to Preti in July 2024, said. "He’s never seen me play."
As part of one of the most famous sibling duos in sports history alongside her sister, Serena, Williams has spent much of her life in the public eye. However, she has been largely private about her romantic life.
Williams previously dated model Elio Pis in 2012 and Nicholas Hammond in 2017 before finding her perfect match in Preti.
Preti was born in 1988 in Denmark and spent most of his childhood there before moving to Italy with his family as a teenager. In May 2024, he shared photos from a trip to Copenhagen on Instagram and wrote that he was back in his "homeland."
He is an actor and producer
While he spent many years as a model, Preti has since built a career for himself as both an actor and producer. After studying acting at the Susan Batson Academy in New York City, per his IMDb bio, Preti landed roles in television, film and commercials.
He wrote, acted in and directed 2014's One More Day, while also appearing in the Italian television series A Professor. More recently, he starred in 2023's Temptation and was a contestant on the Italian reality show La Talpa.
