John Dean is the last surviving major player in the Nixon Administration.
Dean, who was disbarred and served time for his involvement with Watergate, moved to Beverly Hills where he wrote a best selling book, Blind Ambition, recounting his time as White House Counsel, and went into investment banking.
After retiring in 2000, he has authored several books, many criticisms of the modern Republican Party.

I remember the press making a big deal about John Dean's wife, Maureen who sat directly behind him. Every article on her was about how beautiful she was. Maybe it was because John Dean was nerdy by comparison. That said, they are still married (53 years later)
