Death #3. Sharon killed him with that performance.
Who was #2?
Malcolm, Ozzy, ?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 22, 2025 6:26 PM |
Julian McMahon?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 22, 2025 6:27 PM |
Malcom what’s his name from Cosby.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 22, 2025 6:28 PM |
Julian.

"Black Sabbath singer dies aged 76 weeks after touching final show"
These headlines are so awkward.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 22, 2025 6:29 PM |
Good riddance.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 22, 2025 6:30 PM |
72 weeks. Feels like it was 2 weeks ago.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 22, 2025 6:31 PM |
Didn’t he shoot all of his wife’s pets once? Fuck him.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 22, 2025 6:31 PM |
Here comes The Widow Osbourne.
Um skeert.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 22, 2025 6:31 PM |
Wow, and he worked up until 2 weeks ago. Sharon didn't let him rest. He can rest now.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 22, 2025 6:32 PM |
Aww - this is sad! I know he was retiring but damn. He was a really good guy - despite all the drugs and messiness.
It is a bit surprising that these drugged-up old rockers like him and Keith Richards lived so long.
I'm saddened by this - except for the fact that Sharon and Kelly will be NONSTOP about this for the next 3 years. Tributes, legacies - they won't shut up about it and making it about them.
up: Sharon and Kelly hospitalized for depression and exhaustion. "I can't breathe" exclaimed Kelly.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 22, 2025 6:34 PM |
Love you Ozzy RIP
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 22, 2025 6:35 PM |
R11, Kelly can't "breath." As for her dad, he was a rocker, in human years he would be 112. So, good long life.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 22, 2025 6:36 PM |
Connie Francis was number one
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 22, 2025 6:37 PM |
"dies aged 76 weeks"
Damn
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 22, 2025 6:38 PM |
Kelly's always been an advocate for the gay community. She gets a pass.
Sharon may not be the most pleasant person, but her firing from The Talk was some bullshit. And the show crashed without her.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 22, 2025 6:39 PM |
Tom Petty died within a week of his last performance at the Hollywood Bowl in 2017.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 22, 2025 6:40 PM |
Good riddance.
Do Sharon next.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 22, 2025 6:40 PM |
It was bullshit. That dour, humorless dyke Sara Gilbert was just SO offended by her.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 22, 2025 6:40 PM |
[quote]Tom Petty died within a week of his last performance at the Hollywood Bowl in 2017.
He ODed on Fentanyl and Oxy.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 22, 2025 6:41 PM |
I didn’t realize he was such a hottie back in the day.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 22, 2025 6:44 PM |
He looked like he was ready to die 25 years ago.
I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 22, 2025 6:44 PM |
I gay gasped. It was nice he had one final show recently and lived long enough to see Kelly get skinny and engaged.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 22, 2025 6:49 PM |
Bats everywhere are breathing easier tonight
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 22, 2025 6:50 PM |
R22 - oh yeah - Ozzy could get it back in the day. He was very good looking at one time.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 22, 2025 6:50 PM |
R24, same here. This one hurts. Rest in Peace.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 22, 2025 6:53 PM |
I feel for Sharon, Jack and Kelly. They seemed like a super cool, close family. I was watching Jack's Portals to Hell shows when they would all be on together and they really seemed to enjoy each other. Great family. I know they must be distraught. Thoughts and prayers, for real.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 22, 2025 6:55 PM |
Rough trade Ozzy - looks like he could be in an Old Reliable photo shoot.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 22, 2025 6:56 PM |
His last two albums were awesome.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 22, 2025 6:57 PM |
I've never been much of a heavy metal fan but Iron Man is a fucking amazing song.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 22, 2025 6:58 PM |
Death is so final, for only the living. The spirit will always remain
-Ozzy Osbourne
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 22, 2025 6:58 PM |
Our local rock station just played this, which I've never heard. (Never a big Ozzy fan.) But loved it immediately.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 22, 2025 6:58 PM |
Can;t even breath(e)...
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 22, 2025 7:02 PM |
R34 - but Kelly made sure to steal the spotlight at her dad's last performance by getting engaged during it. "Oh it wasn't planned" - yeah right - photographers were RIGHT THERE.
Seriously - she did that for press and it's so obvious. At her dad's farewell concert.
What next - wear a wedding gown to his funeral?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 22, 2025 7:14 PM |
R11 "He was a really good guy"
Good guys don't bite off the heads of animals
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 22, 2025 7:25 PM |
He closed his eyes forever.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 22, 2025 7:30 PM |
Wow, I never knew until this thread that Ozzy was once kinda pretty. He had that lurching-grimacing-madman shtick fully in place by the time I was a teen in the early 80s.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 22, 2025 7:31 PM |
Was he on our 2025 Celebrity Deadpool List?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 22, 2025 7:33 PM |
There was never ANYTHING pretty about Ozzy.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 22, 2025 7:36 PM |
[quote]They seemed like a super cool, close family.
lol. You obviously know nothing about the family.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 22, 2025 7:43 PM |
R40, character issues aside, superficially, surely you can see it at R22?
That’s what surprised me. The realization that he started out pretty but his darker and more twisted “heavy metal” nature soon took over and swiftly became his outward appearance.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 22, 2025 7:44 PM |
Jack Osbourne has MS. Sharon has a million types of cancer. They’re all going to croak.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 22, 2025 7:44 PM |
[quote]Good guys don't bite off the heads of animals
Quit being a goddamn pussy.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 22, 2025 7:44 PM |
Wouldn't expect them to travel in the same circles. Music unites.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | July 22, 2025 7:46 PM |
I believe he didn't know it was a live bird when he bit off the head - seriously. But that act alone got him tons of press and headlines.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | July 22, 2025 7:47 PM |
At least he got to see Aston Villa play in the Champions League.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 22, 2025 7:55 PM |
He's finally rid of his fucking, dreadful wife. Fly free, Ozzy.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 22, 2025 8:10 PM |
R49 - The Widow Osbourne (R) - trademark pending - will be merchandising his face on so many products it will make Gene Simmons blush from the excess.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 22, 2025 8:25 PM |
[quote]Who was #2? Malcolm, Ozzy, ?
Malcom was #2 yesterday.
Alan Bergman, legendary songwriter for 60+ years, was #1 with his death on Sunday.
So we have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday celebrity deaths.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 22, 2025 8:29 PM |
His last words were:
GHEDDDUBF UGGJIUN PKUTHFY
Same thing he's been saying for the last 20 years.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | July 22, 2025 8:37 PM |
I'm starting to wonder if this was on purpose. I remember when Lemmy died, his terminal diagnosis had been announced only one day before and I figured he did an intentional OD. Lemmy was never one to shy away from better living through chemistry.
Maybe Ozzy felt he'd done everything he wanted to do and chose to end it.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | July 22, 2025 8:41 PM |
My uncle was a huge Sabbath fan, so I was introduced to Ozzy as a very young lad. This is very sad news. My heart hurts.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | July 22, 2025 8:45 PM |
I legit do not understand WTF he saw in Sharon.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | July 22, 2025 8:46 PM |
r55 What the fuck did Sharon see in him? The man killed animals including 17 cats!
by Anonymous | reply 56 | July 22, 2025 8:49 PM |
Fair point, R56
by Anonymous | reply 57 | July 22, 2025 9:02 PM |
Not a big solo Ozzy music fan, but I like Sabbath's Paranoid and this song too:
PS r26 He looks like Kelli Martin.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | July 22, 2025 9:04 PM |
[QUOTE]I legit do not understand WTF he saw in Sharon.
Her music manager father was a gangster who weilded undue influence in the music business due to his volatility and propensity towards violence. He pushed and dangled someone out of a window in order to coerce him into signing a contract (Robert Stigwood of Bee Gees fame, IIRC?). Aberrant, sociopathic father has an aberrant sociopathic daughter who corrals a weak addiction-forward Ozzy, so they can both suck him dry. Just a guess.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | July 22, 2025 9:31 PM |
WTF? I thought Suge Knight invented that move.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | July 22, 2025 9:35 PM |
What happened to Ozzy’s first wife?
by Anonymous | reply 61 | July 22, 2025 9:39 PM |
I like his duet with Lita Ford.
Lita Ford & Ozzy Osbourne - Close My Eyes Forever
by Anonymous | reply 62 | July 22, 2025 10:09 PM |
That picture. Flava Flav, Ozzy and JELLY ROLL
by Anonymous | reply 63 | July 22, 2025 10:35 PM |
He had great hair and even when he was very sick it was decent
by Anonymous | reply 64 | July 22, 2025 10:39 PM |
Everyone’s posting the clip of Ozzy calling Trump a convicted felon.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | July 22, 2025 10:46 PM |
I don't know much about him, but I remember thinking he seemed like he was on death's doorstep back during the reality tv days 20+ years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | July 22, 2025 11:21 PM |
Dang
by Anonymous | reply 69 | July 22, 2025 11:36 PM |
Always been dead to me.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | July 23, 2025 1:27 AM |
Of course I know who he is (or was), but I've never actually heard an Ozzy Osbourne song.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | July 23, 2025 1:35 AM |
Gaga ended her first show in SF last night by wearing an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt and playing "Crazy Train" as she and her dancers took their final bows.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | July 23, 2025 12:22 PM |
Sharon? Was she a big fat girl?
by Anonymous | reply 74 | July 23, 2025 1:15 PM |
I sorta wish I could say I cared about this death, but I don't. Never cared for him or his music.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | July 23, 2025 1:17 PM |
R44 Yes, animal abuse is so hard core. And so are you....dumbass
by Anonymous | reply 76 | July 23, 2025 1:23 PM |
R71 Crazy Train is his most well known song. If you aren't under a rock, you've heard it.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | July 23, 2025 2:03 PM |
[quote] If you aren't under a rock, you've heard it.
Are you new to DL? They were listening to Melissa Manchester back then.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | July 23, 2025 2:54 PM |
R79 $$$$$$
by Anonymous | reply 80 | July 23, 2025 3:51 PM |
I guess I've been living under a rock, because I've never heard "Mama I'm Coming Home" or "Crazy Train" before.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | July 23, 2025 4:11 PM |
No, r42. Just relentlessly an AWG, if that.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | July 23, 2025 4:43 PM |
R81 How old are you?
They play the intro to "Crazy Train" in tons of commercials (usually for beer or 4-wheel drives).
by Anonymous | reply 83 | July 23, 2025 6:29 PM |
[quote] He pushed and dangled someone out of a window in order to coerce him into signing a contract (Robert Stigwood of Bee Gees fame, IIRC?).
That would be correct.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | July 23, 2025 6:36 PM |
That video is awesome at r65.
