Because there was an active case and release of the details would have undermined the prosecution (that would be the DOJ, R21... although I don't know how to say it in the original Russian) leading to either a mistrial or worse, a not guilty verdict because we all know that MAGA would have spun it like the tilt-a-whirl at the state fair (and now I know I've lost R21).
