It amazes me the way civilians think the military soooo has their shit together. I got news for you: it never has, not now, not 20 years ago. People think that because 1) there's no more draft, so few people have any experience with being in the military, 2) propaganda, and 3) no one who's been in the military talks about how fucked up it is because they don't want to look bad.
This could have been a bad one. Read it and weep.
