In-N-Out Is Out Billionaire Leaving California

"In-N-Out billionaire Lynsi Snyder says her family will leave California along with the company's headquarters: 'Doing business is not easy here'"

Because of Covid restrictions. She hated them!!

In N Out is going to FLOP!

by Anonymousreply 1July 21, 2025 12:27 AM

Probably moving somewhere to avoid a state income tax. If I were billionaire, I'd prioritize quality of life over money.

by Anonymousreply 2July 21, 2025 12:34 AM

Don't let the door hit ya in the buns, "Lynsi".

by Anonymousreply 3July 21, 2025 12:36 AM

Who names their kid Lynsi?

I hate her fucking guts. She says California is no place to raise children because THEY WERE PROTECTING THEM DURING A PANDEMIC.

She says she was forced to put up plastic protectors for her employees during the pandemic!! Appalling!!

She's keeping headquarters here but moving to Tennessee where all the California Magats are finding comfort and her kids can grow up to be shitstains like her mom.

by Anonymousreply 4July 21, 2025 12:39 AM

They are moving to literally the worst place in the world, Franklin, Tennessee. That's where Kathie Lee Gifford lives, and it is the most pretentious place imaginable. Literally everyone there is so holier than thou and go on and on and on about how nice they are, how religious they are, and how nice Franklin is (it is not). Pathetic and the most deserving place to drop a nuclear warhead ever!

by Anonymousreply 5July 21, 2025 12:41 AM

[Quote] Probably moving somewhere to avoid a state income tax. If I were billionaire, I'd prioritize quality of life over money.

Quality of life seems to be the reason they're moving. Besides a billionaire can have a good quality of life wherever they live really.

by Anonymousreply 6July 21, 2025 12:43 AM

The owners of In-and-Out make the owners of Chick-fil-a (I'm sending a pattern in the naming conventions...) look like pot smoking liberals who even AOC would tell to scale back, and Chick-fil-a is closed on Sundays because the owners are religious.

by Anonymousreply 7July 21, 2025 12:44 AM

She's just a fundie - she didn't do shit to grow that business - she was the only child of the only child of the original owners.

Oh - and she was on her FOURTH husband by the age of 31, immediately remarrying right after each divorce - which kind of tells you she was cheating.

She's a dumb stupid white girl who lucked into multi-billions.

She doesn't have to live in boring old Bradbury CA - WTF? She's trash - look at her pics. Way too much make-up. She's gross.

My dear friend couldn't get out of Tennessee fast enough. Bible belt shithole to this day.

by Anonymousreply 9July 21, 2025 12:52 AM

Lynsi was well known in Glendora, CA, where she grew up (and I grew up) as a skank. All of her relatives died which is the ONLY reason she is in her current position.

by Anonymousreply 10July 21, 2025 12:59 AM

She’s been spending a lot of time there for years. Happy to get those sweet CA profits though. I’m sure Jesus told her to move.

by Anonymousreply 11July 21, 2025 1:03 AM

She isn't closing all California In-N-Outs so doing business there must not be that bad. Just another billionaire not wanting to pay taxes or fair wages.

by Anonymousreply 12July 21, 2025 1:04 AM

"So hard to do business and raise a family here" - yet sales are up and the business started and grew in California.

"The COVID stuff was bad y'all" = she didn't want to follow the guidelines. They weren't asking for COVID vaccination cards to come into the stores.

GUESS WHAT? 95% of In-n-Out's business is drive-thru.

She's a stupid bitch whore - like her white trash mama Lynda Lou Wilson who Fancy'd her way into fucking the druggy son of the owners.

by Anonymousreply 13July 21, 2025 1:05 AM

I've never been to one of our restaurants. Now I'll put them in the same file as I do Chick-fil-A.

The "No-Go" file.

by Anonymousreply 14July 21, 2025 1:06 AM

Tennessee doesn't have a state income tax, California has one of the higher state taxes in the nation, she just doesn't want to pay taxes.

by Anonymousreply 15July 21, 2025 1:09 AM

Maga cunt, time to boycott.

by Anonymousreply 16July 21, 2025 1:22 AM

R15 - to be charitable (which is hard to do with this bitch) - if she's opening up a new HQ in Franklin, it may very well be because it's more affordable for people working in corporate office and to raise a family. Housing and living costs in SoCal are outrageous.

Now - I don't think that's the reason at all because obviously people have made it work for DECADES at In-n-Out.

She's worth almost $7 billion so personal income tax isn't a concern.

"In 2014, Snyder and her husband Sean Ellingson founded Army of Love, a ministry with the goal to “enlist, train and equip an Army of Love to help people from all walks of life that are in need of support, prayer, encouragement, healing, direction, and freedom.” - that Sean is her most recent husband she married in 2014 after divorcing her 3rd husband in 2014.

He's an Army Vet and preacher. It has something to do with 'his' ministry. She's a hypocritical fundie - 4 marriages by 31 and each time having another marriage lined up and ready to go?

This is white trash with money. Look - I live in SoCal and I appreciate it is a good burger. But it's NOT all THAT - and their fries are atrocious.

I don't understand the In-n-Out cult fandom. I truly don't.

by Anonymousreply 17July 21, 2025 1:41 AM

r5 Literally Literally Literally

by Anonymousreply 18July 21, 2025 1:44 AM

r17 Look

by Anonymousreply 19July 21, 2025 1:44 AM

I didn’t know my In-n-Out purchases enriched a rich ho’ who comes across skankier than a truck stop lot lizard. Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

by Anonymousreply 20July 21, 2025 1:48 AM

Snyder graduated from Shingletown Christian Academy, a private high school that her parents helped found, before relocating to Southern California with her first husband.[12] In the early 2000s, Snyder took auto-mechanics, engine performance, and diagnostics classes at Citrus College, her local community college, where she was one of the few women who received high grades.

So I looked up Shingletown Christian Academy - guess what? It's a house in Shingletown. Her parents made their home-schooling into a school so she could graduate.

Imagine having a real college degree or even an MBA and having to work for this trust-fund fundie idiot at HQ. I seriously could not do it.

It'll be even easier to have an all white staff in a place like Tennessee.

by Anonymousreply 22July 21, 2025 2:04 AM

She got pregnant when she was still legally married to her second husband by the man that would be her third husband. Might’ve done something similar with the pastor husband.

by Anonymousreply 23July 21, 2025 2:10 AM

Thank you R13 I live in California and they weren't checking vaccination cards for In-N-Out.

I wish ALL the Magrats would move to Tennessee.

by Anonymousreply 24July 21, 2025 2:44 AM

Why is everyone moving to Tennessee? What are they thinking? There's an article in today's WSJ about how people are starting to leave Atlanta and a lot of them are moving to Chattanooga and Nashville, and I think, for what? The weather is hot, the scenery is nothing special and Tennessee has some of the stupidest, most backward politicians in the country - the state legislature is a nightmare.

by Anonymousreply 25July 21, 2025 2:50 AM

R23 - she did - she got married to her 4th husband in July 2014 and had her son that fall.

But she was 'separated' from the previous husbands so...y'know, it don't count.

R24 - for a period of time, they were checking vaccine cards to eat indoors. But - as you know and me - In-n-Out is famous for being the first drive-through restaurant. That's the majority of their business - like 95%.

So she's pissed because she had to follow the rules everyone else did.

by Anonymousreply 26July 21, 2025 2:57 AM

Remember when In N Out tore down the original restaurant in Baldwin Park in the middle of the night because they were trying to evade the government who wanted it declared a historic landmark? Lynsi and Tamra from Real Housewives of OC are both glendora trash

by Anonymousreply 27July 21, 2025 3:07 AM

There aren't even any In-N-Out in Tennessee. The farthest east they've gone is Texas.

by Anonymousreply 28July 21, 2025 3:16 AM

She looks exactly like I expected

by Anonymousreply 29July 21, 2025 3:23 AM

R28 Lynsi quoted Kid Rock in her interview and hinted that she was going to take up Kid Rock’s suggestion and open In n Puts in Tennessee

R25 Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of the religious, suburban, fundie types all claiming to move to Nashville...but it's really Franklin. It basically just looks like the rich-white-fundie part of Nashville. I guess that's why they like it. I noticed there was a trend in the 2010s of a number of the young Hollywood actors that were on a lot of those young adult WB/UPN/CW/Freeform/etc. type shows all moving to Tennessee...but always specifically to Franklin. It was around the time a lot of them were starting to get married and have families. Not to mention a lot of them were of the fundie-religious types. They all claimed it was because they found Franklin to be "family-friendly" and "the best place to raise kids" vs California. I mean, we can all tell what that is code for... Meanwhile, most of their careers completely dried up.

R5 Oh do tell more about Franklin? I've always wondered why it seemed like every young fundie was moving to this place. Like, did they get a newsletter telling them all where to go? LOL! And that's another thing I noticed about these folks - they can't shut up about how "perfect" Franklin is. Some literally compared to Mayberry from Andy Griffith.

The fact that these types all migrated to where Kathie Lee Giford, of all people, live is SO fitting....LOL!

by Anonymousreply 31July 21, 2025 3:44 AM

Relax guys, she’ll be broke soon enough! No doubt her advisors are thinking only of her, and nothing else. They want only the best for her. Meaning in 20 years you’re all be back here discussing the sadness of The Lynsi Snyder Story.

Does this group photo look they’ll have her best interests at heart.

Shareholders demand maximum profit in our capitalistic society. Move to Tennessee and increase profits with fewer bottom line impacting regulations. We are seeing this all too often. I wonder what the future will look like for attracting companies TO California. Sad to see a real California institution pulling up stakes.

by Anonymousreply 36July 21, 2025 12:55 PM

So I grew up in Nashville, lived in NYC for 20 years and moved back to a smaller city in TN for work and family reasons. So I feel like I have a good read on this state. No income tax is great but our roads and social services suck. The legislature sucks. But the landscape and weather are pretty great also within 7 hours to the beach or mountains etc.

Nashville is a fun town (outside of the Broadway tourist areas which can also be ok if that’s what you’re looking for) with lots of cool artists and creative types. Chattanooga is a little hippie dippie but also full of wealthy people. Franklin does have an amazing town square with quaint stores and crafts and then high end malls nearby. The houses are beautiful.

With that said, everyone I know in real life is kind, progressive and socially liberal. I think the electorate is just tuned out or believe their vote won’t matter. And the state is horribly gerrymandered. It is sad. I pray that people moving from CA, NY and Atlanta for “lower cost of living” are liberal voters but probably not all of them. Time will tell! I think TN could turn purple again. (We had Dem governors while I was growing up and all our major city mayors are still Dems.)

by Anonymousreply 37July 21, 2025 1:37 PM

This style of Christian psycho can't stand to even see someone who looks slightly outside their in-group without fully panicking. I know rich Christians like this. They are unbelievable. Very childlike.

[quote] Sad to see a real California institution pulling up stakes.

Except it's not. The bulk of stores is still in California and there will be another headquarters in Baldwin Park, the original location.

The Magat lady isn't making this move to save money in taxes, she's holding a grudge for the Covid restrictions and by inference, California politics.

by Anonymousreply 39July 21, 2025 2:01 PM

R24 All that press was over one store in the city of SF. The city imposed a vaccine requirement to dine inside, and they preferred to close the dining room vs checking for vaccines. Make what you will over it, but it was a very overblown story.

by Anonymousreply 40July 21, 2025 2:09 PM

Look at the melon on that girl. A long faced pumpkin head!

by Anonymousreply 41July 21, 2025 2:12 PM

She definitely looks more Tennessee than California. White trash with money. Kind of a reverse Beverly Hillbilly

by Anonymousreply 42July 21, 2025 2:14 PM

On a side note, California gets a bad rap for taxes but the Wall Street Journal had an article showing that companies who move their headquarters out of the state don't save all that much money in taxes. However, rich people pay less individual tax in Tennessee than California. Many business leave because they don't like regulation or real estate is too expensive.

For families of modest means, California is not a high-tax state. California taxes are close to the national average for families in the bottom 80 percent of the income scale. For the bottom 40 percent of families, California taxes are lower than states like Florida and Texas.

The highest earners usually pay higher taxes in California than elsewhere. But rich Californians’ tax rates are not much different from the tax rates that low-income families in many states have long been accustomed to paying. Sixteen states tax their poorest residents at rates higher than what California applies to its richest. Florida, Tennessee, and Texas are among those 16 states.

California’s tax system is relatively flat overall, whereas most states have highly regressive taxes that ask less of the rich than of anyone else. California’s choice to have a less regressive system largely explains why California collects more tax revenue per capita than other states without especially high tax rates for low- and middle-income families.

In-N-Out doesn't have any shareholders. And all of its restaurants are corporate-owned (no franchises.)

by Anonymousreply 44July 21, 2025 2:22 PM

Remember, this is the company that prints covert bible verses on its packaging. Not sure why anyone is surprised.

by Anonymousreply 45July 21, 2025 2:33 PM

Married 4 times by age 31? Total red flag. But keep telling everyone you're a pious Christian lady, Lynsi.

by Anonymousreply 46July 21, 2025 2:37 PM

R46 She's as pure as the driven slush.

by Anonymousreply 47July 21, 2025 2:40 PM

She looks like Tiffany Trump.

by Anonymousreply 48July 21, 2025 2:56 PM

R36 you make no sense. The overwhelming % of their revenue and profit comes from CA, and will still come from CA long into the future. CA laws and regulations still apply in CA, no matter where the hqs are located.
