I don't think I am. My BF at the time fainted, fell to the floor and stopped breathing. I grabbed the phone and called 911. When the operator answered I said, "I need an ELEVATOR! Please send one right away." Fortunately, he turned out to be okay but I felt like a fool. The operator was unfazed and the paramedics arrived right away.

Yes. I stay calm and focused on what the most urgent need is.

OP, if this is your roundabout way of asking whether I'd give you a mouth-to-mouth, the answer is no, I certainly would not.

In my first real professional position during college, I saw the notes the interviewers made independently. Both made a similar observation that they thought I possessed a calm demeanor and would exercise sound judgment and leadership in the event of an emergency. Emergency planning was a rather remote possibility, so it struck me that both reviewers made variations on the same observations on a tertiary aspect of the job (at most.)

Yes. Sadly, I've been tested many times over the years.

I'm great in emergencies, because I go into task mode, and forget about manners, etc. My partner is terrible in a crisis, however, so if I ever fall to the ground or something, I'm as good as dead.
