‘Tension’ After Lauren Sanchez Found Out About Jeff Bezos & Sydney Sweeney’s Collab
Remember earlier this summer when Sydney Sweeney arrived as a guest to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez‘s wedding, and everyone was like ‘Why?’ Well, insiders revealed that not only is she allegedly eyed as the top contender to play a Bond girl, but she reportedly got a billion dollar backing from Bezos for her upcoming lingerie line. However, insiders also claim there’s “tension” between Sanchez and Bezos now because of it.
Earlier this month, Puck dropped the bombshell that Sweeney’s upcoming lingerie line was being invested by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm, Coatue, which is in collab with Bezos and tycoon Michael Dell.

While it was originally reported that Sanchez invested in it herself, insiders are claiming otherwise to Rob Shuter. (Shuter is a journalist and gossip columnist, who now runs his own Substack here he dishes on celebrity-based news he gets from inside sources.)
“Sydney’s not that close with Jeff or Lauren,” a source said to Shuter. “But she got invited to their Venice wedding for a reason — business.”
Another insider claimed, “There’s definitely some tension. Lauren didn’t realize just how involved Jeff was in this. It’s… awkward.”
This, plus the Bond girl news, proves that Sweeney is getting closer to Bezos on the business side of things, but how does Sanchez feel? Well, obviously, insiders are saying different things, but are Sanchez and Sweeney even close? Nope. Insiders told Page Six that Sweeney “is not friends with either one of them,” but attended the three-day festivities “to pay respects to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood.”
Only time will tell how this all shakes out.

Sanchez is vulgar. Not sexy. All silicone and plastic. Sweeny is dead-eyed and that dress would look better if her hair was up. Long, stringy beach hair is not good with that dress.
