Where we got married 21 years ago this month, next to the Ether Monument in Boston’s Public Garden. It’s the oldest statue in the Public Garden and commemorates the first public use of ether as an anesthetic. Our photos include the side of the monument with the apt Biblical inscription carved into the base, “Neither shall there be any more pain.”
