I was working that concert and saw her drop. She looked pretty terrified when it happened, but she recovered well. I don't even think most of the crowd realized the butterfly malfunctioned, except for maybe the frightened folks in the seats right beneath her.

She really can't catch a break. I think the Internet has decided she should be trampled into dust and that's that. I realize she has done some very dumb and tone deaf things, her music isn't the best, and people find her annoying, but I don't think her material is necessarily worse than a lot of what passes for pop music today. I will die on the hill of believing her current tearing down has more to do with the fact that she worked with Dr. Luke again despite the allegations against him, than it does with anything else.

r13 A lot of the hate is coming from brainwashed Swifties (a perfectly stupid moniker). I would rather listen to 20 Katy Perry songs than a single Swift song. Katy has a bunch of great, fun pop songs whereas Swift's music is just dull and listless.
