How many celebrities can you spot? How many dead to me celebrities can you spot?

So much star power, such a disappointing film.

Altman was trying to make the Nashville of the fashion industry.

I remember Teri Garr limping along in this movie. It was before she publicly disclosed she had MS. I thought she had a prosthetic leg.

As a young person, I wasn't familiar with his work - saw Pret-a-Porter and Short Cuts and was deeply disappointed in both. I'm sure he had some good films - but I just don't think he's for me. I didn't think Gosford Park was that great either.

I will probably never watch Nashville despite it's reputation.

Just a ton of characters (too many) in every film. Hard to care about any of them with so many.

R4 Nashville is great. And so is The Player. Check those out.

I actually liked The Player more than Nashville.

I see a lot of dead people. Marcello, Anouk, Betty Bacall, Danny Aiello, Harry Belafonte, Sally Kellerman, Teri Garr, Tatjana Patitz, etc.

How did I not know Tatjana Patitz was dead?

We were trying to keep it from you, r7.

I recall Tim Robbins and Julia Roberts improvising as excruciating... On the other hand, Cher's answers to Kim Basinger's dingbat reporter's questions were her own reactions and Bob Altman was quite pleased. As recalled from a Premiere Mag story!
