Her scenes in the trailer with Sevigny do look cool. It's two different film world styles and looked very authentic. A case where a quirkier acting type helps the more traditional "movie" style look more grounded in reality.

Maybe the movie will be good and maybe it won't but it's certainly out of date. The entire idea that a college would come screeching to a halt in the wake of a black woman's rape accusation is laughably out of style. Trump runs academia now - ask Harvard and Yale and Columbia who calls the shots.

I think I may have told this story on DL a few years ago, but let me do it again. My partner and I shared an elevator with her at a NYC hotel some 10 years ago. She may have seemed smart if she were able to include why rehashing old arguments is useful, but based on the info provided that definitely was not the case.
