Everyone knew he was trash - but I have to wonder if he had some sort of PTSD from military.
She kind of jumped in with that marriage. It felt very much like what I see a lot of people in their 20s do - get their degree, establish a job, then go - now what? Oh, I'm supposed to get married and have kids. Like a life checklist.
There's no good time to have kids, but marrying in your 20s is dicey, at best.
