All I know about her is that she's a lesbian.

It was probably among the possible things she looked into like running for mayor of SF or gathering a group to buy the Washington Post.

She is too enamored of tech bros to be an effective political operator, in my humble opinion. Way too cozy with the industry.

I listen to her podcasts and have never heard her say something like that so if she alluded to it, it wasn’t a serious effort.

Thanks everyone. I keep listening to older interviews with her and podcasts, trying to get a better understanding of her. I do like her - I was just curious if I was reading her right, or if she was someone to stay away from.

R10 I agree. Have followed Kara’s reporting for years. She and Scott are great together on Pivot. I much prefer Scott when he’s on with Kara, I think she has a bit of a moderating effect on him. His Prof G shows without her, I can take or leave (mostly leave), but I sort of like him on Raging Moderates because of Jessica Tarlov.
