Man burned to death in hyperbaric oxygen chamber

Yikes. Maybe slowly getting old isn’t the worst of all fates.

A 5-year-old boy died in one of those a few months ago. His parents took him to a quack facility like this one in AZ to be treated for sleep apnea and ADHD. I'm sure they were antivax MAHA types.

Moral of the story - stay the fuck away from these places!

There are some oddities with this story.

The emergency call was made after 1030 pm, immediately after the accident, by somebody who was present when the fire occurred. This is what I read in one report, I believe it was the DM. Then in later accounts in other sources, it wasn't known if there was another person present, or, nobody knew who called 911.

Two people were goofing with the hyperbaric chamber after 10 pm. I haven't read a story yet that talks about the PT's wife, though I hear he's married with kids. No statement from her. Shades of Chris Burrous?
