I process medical insurance claims for a behavioral health facility, and I can assure you UH is the worst to deal with. They auto-reject most claims we submit.

My sister-in-law works for United Health Care. Her pay is something like $150,000 a year for what is essentially a do nothing, paper pushing, accounting job. She is 100% work from home and I've seen her work from home routine which includes taking long naps, watching TV, and talking to her mom on the phone for 1 hour. The rumor is that they plan to require everyone to return to work 4 days a week starting this fall. (I think she might be replaced by AI soon).

The really funny thing is that her health insurance (through United, of course) is total garbage. Pays for nothing, denies everything, high premiums, limited network.

R10 Nobody is making a 150,000 dollars a year in a non government job with a do nothing role. Especially no hugely for profit company with name brand recognition like United Healthcare. It may appear she isn’t doing any anything and she might actually not be doing shit. But she is going to quickly fuck around and find out because she is going to quickly get fired. But she is accountable for a lot and has to make executive level decisions even if there are others above her. The bad health care checks because I’ve seen it, even at her salary. Ive just never seen at her level for someone employed by fucking healthcare company, which makes me think you are completely full of shit.

The brother of a friend of mine was a VP at BCBS. He made a disgusting amount of money and recently retired. And he's a Trumper, too. :( I had no idea how much money he made but only knew it was a lot; I assumed it would be in the high six figures. I just looked him up and found a news story that he was paid $7 million a few years ago. It turns out what I think is a lot is nowhere near what these fucking jackals think is normal.

No, my friend does not approve of him and his Trumper ways, btw.
