Obviously I'm not sexually attracted to women, but I know a beautiful woman's body when I see one. And I know what heterosexual men are looking for. And I can say with certainty, that If Venessa suffered for that body, it wasn't worth it.

This is that same guy who used to post about how jealous he was of her life, right?

This is not “just how people age.” Cigarettes, alcohol and other bad habits that should have been shed are at play here.

I just watched a show today about the extreme ravaging that alcohol plays on the body and the brain. Even though most of us are of an age where alcohol was considered a normal part of anyone's life, and especially of any date night, music festival, concert, or even a picnic in the park, it is 2025 and the evidence is irrefutable: There is no safe amount of alcohol to ingest. Likewise, there is no safe number of cigarettes one can smoke per day or even per year.

And I did eliminate smoking and drinking (for the most part), since turning 50 two years ago. And although life is much more even-keeled, some would say boring, my neurotransmitters have settled down into a nice, fairly constant, pleasant and predictable feeling of contentment. No high highs, but no low lows. It's nice. It's the reality of nature when we do not give our brains and bodies these strange manmade inputs.

With all that said, I can't help but daydream of living in France, where a ciggie here or there and wine at lunch is just a normal part of life! Why do these small vices still hold a romantic allure, I will never understand. But they do.
