The Queen of the New Jersey Turnpike Discount Gas Stations, Laura Zisk, made her triumphant return to Mo's local cable company show. He asked about her daughter who is in her 20s and has Type 1 Diabetes. She starts talking and he turns it around to him and his bipolar. Her response, "But she can die!" This show is just insane.

It's a crime that Y&R didn't make better use of Rory. I didnt realize that he looked this good when he was playing Noah Newman.

I think he looked too old to be Joshua Morrow's son. That man hasn't aged since 1998.

Robert Adamson looked too old to play Noah; Rory could have been a recast Spencer.

I am NOT feeling Rory's energy--or lack there of--in this role. I think people are mesmereized by the pretty. Also, it looks like they put vasline on the lens whenever he's on.

I mentioned in the previous thread I thought Rory was just a tad too sedate but was quickly smacked down.

Whatever. I think DZ is also just a bit too low key.

Rory's good looks do make up for any minor acting shortcomings and I like him a million times better than pursed lipped Chad.

Sidenote: I read that it's best for newbie actors or recasts to under act rather than over act until they get settled. I don't know if that's true but if it is, then maybe Rory is gearing up for when he does have to deliver more powerful performances.

Rory delivered the same performance at Y&R. Just enjoy the eye candy.

Agree with the above posters—Rory’s striking presence, and the comparison with Chad Dull, covers for a lot of the actual performance, which is still fairly stiff.

As always, 90% of the best acting on GH is done by women.

Unpopular opinion Steve / Jason’s hottest chemistry never was pairing was Tamara’s Carly. Knowing they had fights BTS proves they could have been explosive. Days even was smart to capitalize on that.

R38 I watched GH in the 70s, the 90s, early 2000s. I stopped watching around the time Sarah Brown left, so I completely missed the first Tamara Braun go-round.

I started watching on/off again starting with their Big Anniversary in 2013. Although I was fine with him in the early days, I couldn't stand Steve Burton. Until they paired him with Britt. I loved her! (the only actress I felt strongly about). Because of their chemistry, I even started to like him.

Maurice needs to fucking retire. Every scene with him, he looks as if he's waiting for it to be over, so he can eat a spoonful of his Jello pudding and take a nap.

Wow -- 57 years ago OLTL debuted! I was a little 11 year-old watching Dark Shadows and this new soap caught my eye. I remember the star-crossed Larry and Meredith, Larry's siblings Anna and Vinny, Carla Benari who was really Clara passing as white (the scene in which she runs in to her mother was one of the most powerful on daytime ever). Then there was the love story of Joe and Viki, and the arrival of Niki Smith, and Joe's (presumed) death, and Dorian marrying Victor. All of this was before Jenny and Karen Wolek, the Buchanans, Pat Kendall/Ashley, Tina, Megan, Todd, Blair...

I only see one project on his IMDB under "Upcoming", The Technique. Have his people not been updating his page? They did take the time to remove IKWYDLS... He has four other credits listed, GH, the two Ryan Murphy projects and the Tubi movie.

He seems to be mostly booked and busy doing magazine covers in other countries which I imagine is good money and free clothes. Maybe modeling will sustain him through the dry periods.

The general public isn't going to fawn over and exalt actors the way soap fans do. Bryan Craig and Chloe Lanier are proof of that.
