Those have been running for some time. I can't figure out why anyone would buy a beauty product from those two. Maybe Portia just needs something to do.

I never liked Ellen. Everyone knew she was gay, but it took her [bold]forever[/bold] to come out of the closet. And you know I've been out since 1972 when I was a freshman in high school, which fucked up so many opportunities for me I couldn't even count them. There's a reason I have an -- interesting -- employment history. So it annoyed me when someone as rich and famous as Ellen wouldn't come out until 1997.

Plus she lucked out with Portia.

Kind Science, which was co-founded by Ellen, has a 1.5 out of 5 stars on Trust Pilot. Apparently that introductory kit they send you for $49.95 initiates a subscription service and you keep getting billed for months. And the customer service to resolve the issue is bad. Here are a few sample reviews:

"After checking my bank statement I noticed Kind Science had charged me an additional $108.85 that I did not authorize. I called my bank to put a stop payment but because I used my debit card that was not an option. I was able to get ahold of Kind Science and cancel a subscription that I did not know I had signed up for but unfortunately it was to late to get my $108.85 back. Beware I do not like shady business deals and this is shady. I hope Ellen (or whoever is in charge of this business) are happy with themselves. Taking advantage of people is some I would not be proud of. GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY!"

R28, Ellen reminds me of Beryl Reid’s character from the movie “The Killing of Sister George” (1968). When she’s not at work, I suspect Ellen’s at home, cursing Portia and making her get down on her knees to eat cigar butts.
