James Gunn has decided to cancel the 3rd Wonder Woman movie

They were planning on still making another WW film starring Gal Gadot but he’s decided to cancel it.

Was Gal Gadot able to register an emotion when she was informed?

WW3 has been cancelled!?

by Anonymousreply 2July 12, 2025 6:37 AM

What if they had a DC movie and nobody came!?!?!?

by Anonymousreply 3July 12, 2025 7:00 AM

I disliked the first one, but loved the 1984 one.

How is this news? Everyone knew Cavill’s Superman, Batfleck, and her were dead as soon as Gunn signed on to reboot the DCU. You can’t have a Wonder Woman so much older than Superman.

the second film was on tubi and I couldnt watch more than 5 minutes of it

I loved the first one, the second was awful; Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascale had terribly written characters and they did nothing to improve them.

Clickbait headline featuring old news with zero new information.

Great post, OP.

No we know why it was canceled

He hates Israel

by Anonymousreply 9July 12, 2025 12:02 PM

We done been knowing this, OP.

Yes r9, people’s opinions about Israel are the reason everyone does everything.

This has nothing at all to do with the facts that the second movie was a dumpster fire, and Gadot can’t act.

Badly was a solid Wonder Woman. The second film, however, was truly awful. R7 is right: the villains - and the shaky plot they brought - were uninspired and flat. Too bad, because the 1984 setting held great promise.

I’d be up for a third movie set in the present day, but I get they want to start anew. We keep cycling through superheroes, especially Spiderman, an indication of our current attention span and our endless quest for anything shiny and new, or whatever is marketed as shiny and new.

I like her as WW.

R12 especially Spider-Man?

Try BATMAN
