Parents - Be Aware
It is not recommended to put your child's name on the outside of their backpack, especially for younger children...
While it's convenient for identifying belongings, it also makes them vulnerable to strangers who could use their name to gain their trust. ..
Instead, consider labeling the inside of the backpack or using a unique pattern or design to distinguish the bag.

OP, do you know where you are? Do you think this message is appropriate for child-free DL denizens?

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I screamed. "Disneyland burned down!" He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

Or, don't send them to church.

Why are kids still doing backpacks? Don’t they do everything on a tablet now?

r12 Absolutely not, and in fact (good) schools are moving away from that because it's making kids dumber. And now quick AI chat has entered the picture so it's a nightmare, trying to teach the kiddies why they shouldn't be using it for everything.

R15 It’s not the devices themselves that are making kids dumber…

Yes, the stalking pedo you fear can use your child's name to find your family on the internet and masturbate to the hundreds of pictures you've posted on social media of the kid.
