Greg Brady's YOU'VE MADE ME SO VERY HAPPY is definitive

He vocally lifts it into the air to mirror his saucy Deney Terrio leg kicks and pelvic thrusts. Very happy (in the bulge), indeed.

Starts at 2:05.

Fake Jan can't sing or dance. Credit Eve Plumb for running away from this grease fire.

Robert Reed (Reid?) was tall

Eve Plumb and Ann B. Davis had one spectacular little scene-maybe the best in the entire series

Barry's giving off major low-rent Bobby Burgess vibes.

That crappy variety show only ran for something like 6 episodes but there seems to be an unlimited amount of videos from it.

by Anonymousreply 5July 12, 2025 3:01 AM

I could puke.

by Anonymousreply 6July 12, 2025 3:34 AM

Looks like an SCTV skit

by Anonymousreply 7July 12, 2025 3:44 AM

It looks...wholesome.

by Anonymousreply 8July 12, 2025 3:57 AM

No blood, sweat, or tears allowed.

by Anonymousreply 9July 12, 2025 4:00 AM

It was only wholesome if you didn't notice the wet spot on Mike Brady's taint from a leaking load.

by Anonymousreply 10July 12, 2025 4:00 AM

Milton Berle and Rip Taylor join the fun

I'm sorry, but I love it. There was something about good-looking men in those tight, polyester, double-knit suits dancing around that did it for my gayling self back then.

by Anonymousreply 14July 12, 2025 3:23 PM

Sure, not Jan in the OP’s clip.

by Anonymousreply 15July 12, 2025 3:24 PM

Wow is this campy!! Why on earth was Rip Taylor chosen to be Alice's boyfriend? And why exactly was Eve Plumb not in this? Was there an official reason?

It is over the top and a little delicious.

Barry Williams had the potential for a very good voice but needed more training. Maybe he got better in his 30s and on. Apparently he sang in 85 touring shows over the years and on Broadway, too. By coincidence Peter Gabriel released a song The Barry Williams Show that was not about Barry at all. Video directed by Sean Penn. Barry asked why he was named and Peter said it was a coincidence and then Sean cast Barry as an extra in the video.

I saw him in Pippin.

No Words.

Ann B. Davis was 43-48 on Brady Bunch - God damn.

She looked downright Grandma.

by Anonymousreply 20July 12, 2025 8:02 PM

Ahem... Greg Brady wasn't the only 70s tv star with musical talent
