I saw him in person in NYC walking along Central Park South and he look tiny, yellowish and waxy about a decade ago. But recently I saw him perform live and he looked slight, but really fit, and styled in jeans, a white shirt and a blazer that fit perfectly and moved with him as he gestured during his performance.

He looks to have had some very expensive hair restoration like David Spade’s, and in person he looked fitter and healthier than I would have expected. I don’t agree with some of his stances and sometimes “hate watch” his HBO Show, but it’s obvious that this guy is aware of his good fortune and wants to enjoy it into his old age. He is an old pothead, but I’d like to be as fit, wealthy and socially connected when I’m his age.

Watching Maher with Barbara Eden, a weird episode of his Club Random podcast. She seems like a really sweet lady. Actually R69, I looked into it once, Barbara Eden does not get any money from those. She's doing it because about 20 years ago some gay fan of hers started making them and eventually got to meet her and have since become friends. I think he bought the copy rights too. There are other random artists that also make them as well. His are not as good, I have seen them in person. People flock to get them signed by her. I am sure she makes a few bucks at those events though. It's not a sad thing, they have evolved over the decades and a lot of actors love getting the attention from fans at their age they no longer get because they have not worked in ages.

I knew one of those older actresses who were popular in the 50s but saw their careers naturally decline over the decades. She has since died but she was famous from an iconic horror movie and rarely worked anymore, so she went to those fan conventions where she got treated like royalty, got free air and hotel and sold her autograph for 5 bucks a shot. She charged for her signed photos and told me that this was a great way to see people she hadn't seen in ages, meet new folk and make some money. There was no reason for her to feel sad or ashamed and the fact that are so many others doing the same thing normalized the whole experience for her. She lived with her husband in a beautiful house in an expensive LA neighborhood and had no regrets.
