The Take Me Out playwright had died. Thank you for writing the play that got Jessie Williams out of his clothes and onto the stage.
So… he wrote that play as it was the only way he could see hot naked guys for real?

Was “Take Me Out” really any good? Yeah it had acclaim blah blah but all anybody ever talked about was the shower scene.

It was successful. The play ran for nearly a year in 2003 to 2004, and had been revived twice on Broadway.
It got a mixed review from Variety.

I liked Take Me Out, especially the original production. His other plays not so much. RIP.
