It came out in 2022, and I'm giving it a second watch. The series, produced in Argentina and listing Salma Hayek as en executive producer, begins with the 1952 death of Eva Peron and the subsequent embalming of her corpse. We know the rest -- President Juan Peron is eventually exiled to Spain when a new administration takes charge three years later. An Italian sculptor creates three copies of her body. Members of the military, not wanting Eva's body to be preserved and displayed, do not know which body is the real corpse, so they take each of the bodies to bury elsewhere at different locations in Argentina.
Have you watched the series? What did you think of it? I found the multiple implied instances of her corpse's desecration unnerving but necessary to the story. The series is riveting and the English language dubbing awful.
