Very much against capital punishment but the idea of "prison justice" is more disturbing. Turning a blind eye to convicted murderers and other violent criminals reoffending is a failure of the system. Let him suffer in confinement for the rest of his life.

R25, about 20 years ago, there was a Catholic priest from the Boston area who was found guilty of child molestation. He met his end swiftly at the hands of an inmate who was in for life. IIRC no one really had a problem with how that played out. Sometimes people give up their right to life for their crimes against humanity.

R33, she was expected to be called as a witness. I assumed he was parked away from the house, observing. The driver said he was parked right next to her. He had a plan, and nothing was going to stop him from entering that house and executing (no pun intended) that plan.
