Why do actors do this? Aren't they supposed to become the face and body of whoever they're playing? Why complicate your own so much?

If you're filming it's a pain for Make-up, but what about when he's in a play, which he will be next year?

Beckham at least has what look like proper tattoos (or did). After Harry Styles started to look like a class of 6 year olds had attacked him with marker pens, every other idiot seemed to follow suit and now we have people covered in shitty doodles.
