She's a shameless marketing whore who has done brand "partnerships" for years. The number of brand deals she's had at any given time over the last two years is crazy. The most recent addition to her portfolio is Baskin Robbins, which she just announced last week. Sydney and her team are keeping her name int he media, end of story—she's not being pushed by anyone other than her marketing people and herself. She has a mass appeal because she's a basic bitch, and people love basic bitches.
