Has anyone seen this film? I have never heard of it and it doesn't seem to be very well known. The Criterion Collection put it out somewhat recently and I came across it while perusing their titles as they're having their 50% off sale now at Barnes & Noble. I've always thought Carradine was sexy as hell and some of the reviews I've read on it describe it as a kind of neon-bathed odyssey through late-night Los Angeles in the '80s. Is it any good?
"Choose Me" (1984) starring Keith Carradine, Geneviève Bujold, and Lesley Ann Warren

If I recall correctly, the Village Voice praised it at the time. My Cinderella!

I saw this many years ago, maybe when it was first released. I enjoyed it quite a bit; it has a great soundtrack and a funny/sad tone, with beautiful people being totally confused by love.

Saw it in the theater and remember loving it. So many great indie movies in the ‘80s.

Another mid-'80s neon LA nighttime odyssey (albeit much lighter, more humorous fare) is "Modern Girls" with Cynthia Gibb, Virginia Madsen, and Daphne Zuniga.

Choose Me is one of my all-time-favorite movies, OP. I've watched it many times over the years.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

I had more fun in the 80s than any other decade.
