WTF is wrong with Eric MacCormack?

Plastic. Shallow. So far up his own ass. This is one minor example of the mess he is.

I can't believe that little old lady hobbling down the aisle is Ann-Margret. As for Eric he's beginning to resemble George Maharis in his elder years.

by Anonymousreply 1June 29, 2025 4:35 AM

I guess since he never has to work again ...

by Anonymousreply 2June 29, 2025 4:41 AM

If you’ve ever seen him on a talk show (I.e. Graham Norton), it’s torture.

by Anonymousreply 3June 29, 2025 4:50 AM

OMG I could not tell who she was until I read the comments. Poor thing.

by Anonymousreply 4June 29, 2025 4:55 AM

She looks pretty good. I forgive the walk. I walk like the Frankenstein monster every morning when I get up.

by Anonymousreply 5June 29, 2025 4:57 AM

She’s 84 years old.

by Anonymousreply 6June 29, 2025 5:02 AM

It’s like watching a Christopher Guest movie. Both are phony baloneys.

by Anonymousreply 7June 29, 2025 5:07 AM

She should have come out on her motorcycle.

by Anonymousreply 8June 29, 2025 5:07 AM

Isn’t she now having to do conventions? Did she lose all her money or something?

by Anonymousreply 9June 29, 2025 5:08 AM

I actually think she looks good for 84

by Anonymousreply 10June 29, 2025 5:09 AM

Share more examples, OP.

by Anonymousreply 11June 29, 2025 5:11 AM

He's an aging FAG

by Anonymousreply 12June 29, 2025 5:15 AM

He looks like John McEnroe.

by Anonymousreply 13June 29, 2025 5:21 AM

John McEnroe is ugly as black tongue.

by Anonymousreply 14June 29, 2025 5:26 AM

IIRC she broke a lot of bones when something fell on her at a stage show and those injuries are probably acting up in her later years. Its a wonder she can walk at all.

She looks great to me.

by Anonymousreply 15June 29, 2025 5:36 AM

Let's get back to the point.

R15, the injuries were mainly to her face. "Ann-Margret broke several facial bones, including a smashed cheekbone, and a brain concussion when she fell from a 22-foot-high platform during a performance in Lake Tahoe in 1972. She also broke her jaw in two places and broke her left arm."

Ann M??? 🤩

by Anonymousreply 18June 29, 2025 6:11 AM

Eric just walked past me at the Weho pride parade. He looked good in person. My husband started watching some trash horror show on Shudder (Hell Motel) and Eric is TERRIBLE in it!

by Anonymousreply 19June 29, 2025 6:14 AM

Whoever decided to dress Ann like that should be shot. if it was her decision then someone should have told her "no Ann, just NO".

by Anonymousreply 20June 29, 2025 10:43 AM

Eric deserved a bigger career. He is famous for Will and Grace and a stint on Bway in The Music Man.

He’s talented and should have done more TV/stage

by Anonymousreply 21June 29, 2025 12:00 PM

They should’ve at least had someone escort her down that aisle. Ridiculous.

by Anonymousreply 22June 29, 2025 12:20 PM

Not a horrible actor, but not a lot of range. And yes, he looks like an aging George Maharis.

by Anonymousreply 23June 29, 2025 12:25 PM

He's in some British show, "Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue". I haven't watched it.

by Anonymousreply 24June 29, 2025 12:28 PM

His character of Will Truman was written to be like Max Mutchnick, so he was anxious and bitchy and caustic. I always thought that was a terrible role for an actor to be saddled with.

One of my former boyfriends once told me he greatly identified with Will Truman, and I thought, "And that's exactly why I broke up with you."

A-M is actually a pretty good actress. As for her singing and dancing. Generally pretty sloppy stuff. She worked it but I always thought she was pretty mediocre.

by Anonymousreply 28June 29, 2025 6:11 PM

I thought the woman was Elton John in a longer wig than normal.

by Anonymousreply 29June 29, 2025 6:18 PM

Whether you like her personally or not, she was considered an absolutely electrifying performer back in the day.

There's a whole episode of "Mad Men" all about her appeal--the men at Sterling-Cooper try to copy her famous opening number for "Bye Bye Birdie" for an ad for a diet cola, but they can't make it work "because she's [i.e. the singer/dancer in the commercial] just not Ann-Margret."

Never thought he was handsome or hot.

by Anonymousreply 31June 29, 2025 7:10 PM

WTF is wrong with the three leads from Will & Grace? It was a piece of shit gay minstrel show with horrible actors who seem to have mistaken their paychecks for having been granted sainthood. Useless, often revolting the three of them.

by Anonymousreply 32June 29, 2025 7:17 PM

There were four leads on Will & Grace, r32, not three: McCormack, Messing, Hayes, and Mullaly. Who are you leaving out?

by Anonymousreply 33June 29, 2025 7:30 PM

I always felt Will & Jack were patterned after Michael and Emory from The Boys In The Band.

A-M developed into more than a "pretty good" actress. She was an excellent Blanche in a TV STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and held her own very well with Glenda Jackson, Julie Christie, and Alan Bates in RETURN OF THE SOLDIER.

by Anonymousreply 35June 29, 2025 10:31 PM

He seems like pretty much any other daytime talk show host in that clip. That's why I don't watch those shows.

by Anonymousreply 36June 30, 2025 2:17 AM

[quote]She was an excellent Blanche in a TV STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

I thought she was miscast in Streetcar, far too sturdy and STILL did a very credible job. I also loved her with Julie Andrews in the tv movie Our Sons.

by Anonymousreply 37June 30, 2025 2:44 AM

Ann-MargRock!

by Anonymousreply 38June 30, 2025 2:49 AM

Bye bye Burr-hee!

by Anonymousreply 39June 30, 2025 2:53 AM

Ann-Margret, Gene Hackman and Ellen Burstyn were brilliant in the bittersweet drama "Twice In A Lifetime."

by Anonymousreply 40June 30, 2025 3:24 AM

WTF is wrong with YOU, OP? It was a perfectly delightful and respectful homage to Ann-Margret. Go fuck yourself.

by Anonymousreply 41June 30, 2025 3:29 AM

R41 - well hello, Eric.
