I know women with small breasts don’t need much support, but these days when people are bigger than ever why does it seem like so many women are no longer wearing bras. It’s makes large chested women look slovenly and blob like.
Why are bras out of fashion?

You. Know that feeling when you’re carrying a bag with really annoying handles that dig into your hand? Imagine that feeling but digging into your shoulders all day long.

Who cares? And why are you wondering here, of all places? Did your Tits Monthly subscription run out?

Who needs a bra when you can look this classy at a state dinner at the White House without one?

Speaking of bras, why are my mesothelioma channels (Catchy Comedy, etc.) now constantly showing commercials for Honeylove bras? The ads all show young women wearing these bras and showing them off by feeling up their boobs. I think it's wrong. Shockingly wrong!

OP is posting from a 1970s bra-burning.

How about taking that shopping bag, wrap it around your balls, then pull the handles up over your neck and enjoy the feeling of it digging into your inner thighs all day long?
then you might really know what it's like.

That, r3, is a bra. There's a lotta architecture going on there holding those puppies up.

Frankly (I'm just bullshitting here because it's Friday night and I'm home alone) it seems to me that someone must have invented a type of bra by now that provides support without digging into your skin. It doesn't seem like that should defy the laws of physics. Different materials?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 28, 2025 3:32 AM |
...and no bones.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 28, 2025 3:34 AM |
r8, definitely hasn't happened. you can have comfortable OR you can have support. Never shall the two meet.

A bra usually hurts if it's not properly fitting. If you get a professional fitting, and if when you buy the bra you make sure it fits tightly and not too snugly, and if the straps provide adequate lift without digging into your shoulders, you should be okay. But also realize you will have to buy a new bra when the old one starts to sag.

once you hit a certain size cup (not band) nothing is going to be actually comfortable. I gave up underwires about 10 years ago except with sundresses.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 28, 2025 3:43 AM |
I guess I’m dyslexic and read it as “bars” but that is even more true.

Yes, there is a whole lot of industrial grade infrastructure going on there to support those generously sized jugs.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 28, 2025 4:01 AM |
r12 that's only true up to cup size C (and sometimes not even then).
If you've got a lot of boob, you're not EVER going to feel truly comfortable with straps holding up that weight, period. And it is the cause of a fair amount of back issues for many women.

r13 Rescuechick, I gave up underwire bras the second the plastic cracked and the wire poked me in the boob with each step! Those things are evil, I tell you, [italic]evil.[/italic]

That's why I gave up whalebone corsets, R18.

OP, the last thing I'm looking at is some woman's tits.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 28, 2025 9:52 AM |
Apparently sagging tits are all the rage right now.

One thing I have always admired about DL is its eye for the importance of what it calls "foundation garments".
Sure, gals, you can ditch the underwires, or even the whole bra, but the line of your clothes will never be as the designer intended. Of course if your clothes are all from Walmart, run amok.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 28, 2025 3:18 PM |
Go back to your stupid vampire post, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 28, 2025 3:35 PM |
I’m more concerned about all these fat girls in crop tops proudly walking around with their gunts out. The self-esteem movement has gone too far!

I am continually amazed at how much gay men pay attention to women and everything women-centric.
Do I ask you why you're not wearing a jock? Do I GAF?
Get back in your lane, boys.

Some lady look Best with no bra. As yoo can see in foto of me and lady friend.

OP, why do you choose to live someplace where the people are so aesthetically unpleasant?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 28, 2025 3:54 PM |
I never leave the house without lycra on these thighs and on these udders.

What about manssieres? My moobs need a home!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 29, 2025 2:32 AM |
Honeylove and Underoutfit are bringing back the bra - comfy style. No underwires, lots of pushup, and forgiving elastic.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 29, 2025 2:32 AM |
R30 Yes! Let's talk about the bra needs of some men!
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 29, 2025 2:33 AM |
I’ve always worn a bra, even when they were perky. I know she didn’t care, but Linda McCartney in the 1970s scared me for them.
