Nick Kyrgios 'lands eye-catching new role at Wimbledon' weeks after being dropped by the BBC and hitting out at decision as 'very strange'

Disrupted by knee and wrist injuries, the 30-year-old will not be involved as a player, making this the third consecutive year he has missed out. His last appearance on the court at Wimbledon came in 2022, when he lost the final to Novak Djokovic.

Kyrgios was also overlooked by ESPN this year despite featuring on their panel at the Australian Open, and previously worked for the Tennis Channel and TNT Sports. He is said to be joining the radio station to record a daily half-hour show alongside co-presenter Gordon Smart. I feel like Nick has BPD or something. I know he brags about beating "The big four" but only one of those players is active. Chris is a current player, knows all the conversations in the locker room, knows all the players, and really in the trenches. He knows the lower ranked players from the early rounds well because he's among them and plays them on a regular basis. That's invaluable to the commentary box because I doubt that most of the other commentators are getting any info outside of what their researchers give them on a piece of paper.
