Deportation is when you send someone back to his/her own country.
In many cases, Homan doesn't even do that. He sends them to a torture chamber gulag in a third country to which they have no connection. And thousands of them have no criminal record in any country.

He's been in charge of ICE off and on for over 10 years - he actually started under Obama. He's the architect of 'separate children from their parents - it's very effective' - but Obama wouldn't let him do it. Trump did though.
His wife lives separately from him over death threats - I think it's a convenient excuse on her part.
His 4 kids should be grown if he's 63 - so it's not like he has kids at home.
