I did not rush to judgement about him at all. I came to the end result slowly and thoughtfully. I knew a long while about his grabbing waiters and restaurant staff and stage and film crews years before it became public news. There are dozens if not hundreds mountain of young men of various ages who consider him a sexual harasser and assaulter going back to the 1990s.

Whatever type of charisma spacey has, it isn’t the kind that inspires deep loyalty. Despite his great talent there’s never been anything remotely endearing about him and he’s never been sexually hot. He spent the successful part of his career closeted, only came out when he had no choice, and has done nothing to advocate for others, and the community will remember all of this.

Has anyone seen Franco Nero's 2023 movie 'The Man Who Drew God' in which Nero plays the leading role of the blind artist wrongfully accused of sexual misconduct with a minor? Spacey has what is described as a "cameo" role as a police detective. Initially, it was reported that Nero's wife, Vanessa Redgrave, would also be in the film. Then her reps released a statement she would not. Variety reported she received social media backlash after the initial casting announcement (because of Spacey's involvement). She was in her mid-80s at the time of filming so her declining could very well be due to physical reasons. It was reported she was no longer up to traveling. Faye Dunaway played the part instead.
