Time for another skincare thread!

I am 100% in love with The Ordinary!

I’ve used everything, from medically prescribed creams (Retinol A or Renova - which I will always use), to amazing Korean skincare lines, to the best sunscreen out there, & The Ordinary is fucking AMAZING, & absolutely affordable to all.

Their skincare products surpass all of the super expensive stuff I’ve used in the past.

Just wanted to share this, for those who may want to change things up.

Their website has a questionnaire in order to address your specific concerns.

Go check them out!

What specific products do you use, OP?

by Anonymousreply 1June 26, 2025 2:27 PM

I think European sunscreen is the best for crazy high UV, hot summer days. I am a fan of Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Sun Cream for my body and La-Roche Posay Anthelios UVMune for my face. Both brands are owned by Loreal.

The Ordinary is fine but its not so fabulous that I cream by sweaty panties, like OP seems to do.

by Anonymousreply 3June 26, 2025 2:32 PM

Agree- My favorite is the Multi Peptide + HA Serum. I get the 2 ounce bottle and use every day. I get the Argan oil they make as well as the Red Skin Peel- That shit is the real deal. Retin A at night. I do like bougie La Mer Eye Cream though. And SPF 40- 50 every day, currently using Elta which is fine. I really liked Isdin but its very expensive (Recommended that here too)

I bought the serums because they are cheap. They are not life changing for me. They’re fine.

The caffeine solution from The Ordinary works really well. It makes my eyes less puffy

The Ordinary DOES NOT MAKE R3 "cream his sweaty and dirty panties", like it does the OP!

Let it be KNOWN!

I REPEAT! LET IT BE KNOWN!

by Anonymousreply 7June 26, 2025 3:08 PM

That is correct R7. I will say The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum works wonders on my hole, post prolapse.

by Anonymousreply 8June 26, 2025 3:10 PM

Well R8.. I do not think that I will add that insight into the Datalounge Declaration of Independence. THAT'S for sure.

But thank you!

by Anonymousreply 9June 26, 2025 3:13 PM

I second the caffeine solution. It also helps with dark circles.

I just discovered this Hungarian skincare line selling a cheap stabilized Retinal (and other stuff). It was suggested by Grok when I was looking into a cheaper retinal than the expensive Avene one I'd been using, and I looked into it and it's legit.

Think about it: Hungarian skincare.

The Gabor sisters or Viktor Orbán?

by Anonymousreply 12June 26, 2025 6:45 PM

You are correct OP. The Inkey List is also good and at a similar price point. They have a few things that The Ordinary don’t offer.

by Anonymousreply 13June 26, 2025 6:48 PM

I like their Argireline serum for my forehead and 11s.

by Anonymousreply 14June 26, 2025 7:01 PM

Botox, broadband light laser 3x per year, halo laser once a year, and vitamin c in the morning daily and retin A at night. I use Japanese sunscreen. Usually Suncut UV gel.

by Anonymousreply 15June 26, 2025 11:27 PM

I love their Glucoside Foaming Cleanser

by Anonymousreply 16June 26, 2025 11:43 PM

What firming cream is best for my turkey-like neck?

by Anonymousreply 17June 27, 2025 1:00 AM

R17, Roc Retinol Correxion

by Anonymousreply 18June 27, 2025 1:17 AM

No wonder so many of you bitches look like women.

by Anonymousreply 19June 27, 2025 3:38 AM

I use Musely mostly, but I have the Ordinary peptide serum, peptide eye serum, ceramide moisturizer and radiance serum (Vitamin C derivatives.) Like them all because they're cheap and unfragranced. Also like CosRX snail mucin (yeah, I know) and Neogen real ferment micro essence, which is a dupe for that pricey SK stuff.

Other brands with the generic look and pricing of The Ordinary are Inkey, Brandefy and Minimalist.

R3 no one cares, you fat fuck and based on your other posts, you’re a complete, moron
