A part of me feels like real female beauty is overlooked as opposed to overrated. I think roman noses are attractive on both men and women but they’re seen as less attractive on women.

Not just your perspective, I see this all the time in LA / Beverly Hills. As a gay man it's obvious, those relationships are about money or security of having "a man" in their lives. Anyhow, I work with a bunch of younger women who barely wear any makeup, and let me tell you, most of them are naturally gorgeous.

Personally and as gay man, I disagree, i think aesthetically women are generally more beautiful and attractive, though they do nothing for me in terms of sexual attraction. Some of this results from women, historically , having more tools at their disposal to make themselves so (also a form of burden to them).

Even nowadays, an ugly woman has more chances to look attractive by means of clothing, make-up, styling, hair, etc than an ugly man. Aging is the same thing . Unlike the popular opinion i think a well groomed old woman usually looks better than the men. This will probably change in the future, notably re baldness and slimming options, but even today a man with dyed hair or an eye lift look usually bad, not to say anything about make up.

Women looks beautiful all done up but I agree that a good looking guy wakes up looking hot or can sweat for hours on end at work and leave still looking hot. I guess that’s why I’m attracted to men though.
