What’s wrong with me?
I had to walk for about two hours outside today. There was no way around it. I had a bottle of Poland Spring. I nursed it but it got me through.
It was about 100 degrees F.
Got home and felt very listless but the weirdest part was the soreness around my eyes and all the salt deposits that kept coming out around my eyes — you know the little things in the corners of your eyes when you wake it. I had a lot, and it kept replenishing itself. That’s stopped now but I still feel soreness around my eyes.
So what’s wrong with me?

What's wrong with you is that you're a hypochondriac.

Walking about in 100 degree weather might be a problem.

Probably your eyelids and the sensitive skin around your eyes were saturated in stronger-than-usual salt solution for too long.

You might consider you lost a lot of electrolytes in your "2 hours of walking around in 100 degree weather" and perhaps replenish with a sports-type drink or Pedialyte. You may be dehydrated. You lose a lot of water during that kind of heat and 2 hours of exercise.

Also, I've been extremely dehydrated a few times in my life, and I also got that gritty eye shit in the corners of my eyes.

You have dry eye disease.

You're melodramatic, that's what's wrong with you.

If that’s wrong, I don’t WANT to be right!

The Black Death of course.

I was in Cambodia on vacation and foolishly walked around in blinding sunlight without sunglasses. This resulted in a terrible floater that I’m still dealing with.

Ugh that actually sounds so frustrating, R15. How long ago was that?

I'm not a doctor, but what OP describes sounds like the initial stages of cancer.

You’re going to need a pen, a notebook and at least two hours for me to tell you what your problem is OP.

Did you get sunscreen and sweat in your eyes? Also drink some electrolytes

I wouldn't worry too much, doll. You might just be stupid.

Drink tons of water, OP, and rest in a cool place.
You'll be fine.

Possible problems:
Dehydration.
The sweat/salt around your eyes created some skin sensitivity.
You spent the 2hrs squinting in the sun, so the muscles around your eyes are tired.
Drink water, gatorade, powerade to replenish liquids. Take a cool shower and gently cleanse your face and lower your body temperature. If you don't feel better, can we have your stuff?
