What’s wrong with me?

I had to walk for about two hours outside today. There was no way around it. I had a bottle of Poland Spring. I nursed it but it got me through.

It was about 100 degrees F.

Got home and felt very listless but the weirdest part was the soreness around my eyes and all the salt deposits that kept coming out around my eyes — you know the little things in the corners of your eyes when you wake it. I had a lot, and it kept replenishing itself. That’s stopped now but I still feel soreness around my eyes.

So what’s wrong with me?

^^^ wake up

by Anonymousreply 1June 26, 2025 3:08 AM

Go to a doctor or use google

by Anonymousreply 2June 26, 2025 3:08 AM

What's wrong with you is that you're a hypochondriac.

by Anonymousreply 3June 26, 2025 3:09 AM

I mean other than that

by Anonymousreply 4June 26, 2025 3:10 AM

Can I have your stuff?

by Anonymousreply 5June 26, 2025 3:26 AM

Walking about in 100 degree weather might be a problem.

by Anonymousreply 6June 26, 2025 3:27 AM

Probably your eyelids and the sensitive skin around your eyes were saturated in stronger-than-usual salt solution for too long.

by Anonymousreply 7June 26, 2025 3:30 AM

You might consider you lost a lot of electrolytes in your "2 hours of walking around in 100 degree weather" and perhaps replenish with a sports-type drink or Pedialyte. You may be dehydrated. You lose a lot of water during that kind of heat and 2 hours of exercise.

by Anonymousreply 8June 26, 2025 3:31 AM

Also, I've been extremely dehydrated a few times in my life, and I also got that gritty eye shit in the corners of my eyes.

by Anonymousreply 9June 26, 2025 3:36 AM

You have dry eye disease.

by Anonymousreply 10June 26, 2025 3:39 AM

You're melodramatic, that's what's wrong with you.

by Anonymousreply 11June 26, 2025 3:40 AM

If that’s wrong, I don’t WANT to be right!

by Anonymousreply 12June 26, 2025 3:49 AM

The Black Death of course.

by Anonymousreply 13June 26, 2025 3:52 AM

It’s eye syphilis.

by Anonymousreply 14June 26, 2025 3:54 AM

I was in Cambodia on vacation and foolishly walked around in blinding sunlight without sunglasses. This resulted in a terrible floater that I’m still dealing with.

by Anonymousreply 15June 26, 2025 3:59 AM

Ugh that actually sounds so frustrating, R15. How long ago was that?

by Anonymousreply 16June 26, 2025 4:09 AM

I'm not a doctor, but what OP describes sounds like the initial stages of cancer.

by Anonymousreply 17June 26, 2025 4:17 AM

You’re going to need a pen, a notebook and at least two hours for me to tell you what your problem is OP.

by Anonymousreply 18June 26, 2025 4:24 AM

Ok I’m on it r18 🖊️📗⏳⌛️

by Anonymousreply 19June 26, 2025 5:04 AM

Ask ChatGPT.

by Anonymousreply 20June 27, 2025 2:44 AM

Did you get sunscreen and sweat in your eyes? Also drink some electrolytes

by Anonymousreply 21June 27, 2025 2:52 AM

I wouldn't worry too much, doll. You might just be stupid.

by Anonymousreply 22June 27, 2025 3:01 AM

Eye cancer

by Anonymousreply 23June 27, 2025 3:16 AM

Lupus?

by Anonymousreply 24June 27, 2025 3:50 AM

We don’t care.

by Anonymousreply 25June 27, 2025 4:56 AM

Ass cancer.

by Anonymousreply 26June 27, 2025 7:02 PM

Drink tons of water, OP, and rest in a cool place.

You'll be fine.

by Anonymousreply 27June 27, 2025 7:10 PM

What's on your IPod, OP?

by Anonymousreply 28June 27, 2025 7:43 PM

Possible problems:

Dehydration.

The sweat/salt around your eyes created some skin sensitivity.

You spent the 2hrs squinting in the sun, so the muscles around your eyes are tired.

Drink water, gatorade, powerade to replenish liquids. Take a cool shower and gently cleanse your face and lower your body temperature. If you don't feel better, can we have your stuff?

by Anonymousreply 29June 27, 2025 7:47 PM

I actually died yesterday, so all you people who made fun can start feeling very bad now.
